Are you too young to feel stiff and restricted in your movement?
Are you too young to spend time worrying what your hip mobility will be like in 5 years?
Have you had the thought – OMG my hips are so tight?
If your answer is ‘Yes’ to either or both of these questions it’s time to take action. This workshop is designed to give you hope. Hope that tight hips and hamstrings are not a life sentence. Freedom is there for anyone who decides that they no longer want things to be that way.
In this workshop, Christian combines myofascial release – using massage balls targeting well known trouble spots – with a hip/hamstring opening-focused yoga practice, and some of the slickest music you’ll ever hear in a yoga class.
You will leave feeling like you have made significant progress and be ambitious about what more can be done!
Join us from 11.30am – 1.30pm, Saturday February 24th 2018.
GET INVERTED WITH ADAM WHITING IN “TEST FLIGHT”
In this 3-hour workshop we will investigate a multitude of aspects that allow us to hold a safe and stable handstand.
The feet, the hips, the core, the shoulder girdle, the wrists and hands all play an important role in getting and staying upside down. We’ll open, strengthen and integrate through an intelligent flow of foundational poses to build the strength and body awareness needed to fly. We’ll then move towards wall-work, partner work, and ultimately to solo flight.
All levels are welcome and variations and modifications will be given to beginners and seasoned handstanders alike.
SATURDAY 2nd Dec
